With over thirty years of flying tradition and experience behind us, we know what it takes to make the best airline pilots. AAPA is managed by its parent company Regional Express (Rex) which is the largest independent regional and domestic airline in Australia, recognised by experts all over the globe as the world’s best regional airline.
AAPA only trains pilots to commercial airlines standards and has a much more stringent and rigorous pedagogy compared to what is prevalent amongst pilot schools catering to General Aviation. AAPA has been approved by civil aviation regulatory bodies in China, Singapore, Australia, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates to deliver ab-initio Integrated Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) and Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC).
AAPA has trained pilots for Air China, Hainan Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, Okay Airways, Scoot, Qatar Airways, China Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Tigerair, Rex, Vietnam Airlines and Air Arabia. Besides training cadets for airlines, AAPA also accepts private candidates aspiring to be airline pilots.
AAPA has two large campuses at Wagga Wagga, NSW and Ballarat, VIC, and has a total combined capacity of over 400 cadets a year for its residential CPL programme.
