AAPA - Australian Airline Pilot Academy

GCAA Approved Integrated ATPL (A)

The ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) is the highest licence a pilot can achieve.

The aim of the GCAA approved ATPL(A) integrated course is to train pilots to the level of proficiency necessary to enable them to operate as a co-pilot on multi crew ,multi-engine aeroplanes in commercial air transport operations. It is an ab-initio course (no previous flying experience is required).

AAPA has received approval from the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) as an approved Flight Training Organisation to conduct Integrated Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) training for UAE carriers. AAPA now becomes one of only three non UAE-based flight training organisations worldwide approved by the GCAA and the first approved to conduct ATPL training.
